Garnett posted 6 points as the Wolves started the third quarter on a 10-0 run to bounce back in the game. “He did not want to lose this game tonight”.

Timberwolves president and coach Flip Saunders died on October 25 from complications from Hodgkin’s lymphoma. However, the move took away from the traditional center’s shot-blocking. Brown hasn’t given any indication as to whether Noel will be back in the starting lineup for their next game but he likely won’t be coming off the bench for too much longer as he and Okafor are big pieces of the future and they need to figure out how to play with one another.

Philadelphia (0-14) shouldn’t be a tough assignment though, averaging 90.1 points on 41.4 percent shooting with 18.9 turnovers – all league worsts. Towns scored just six points with two rebounds in 19 minutes. Reserve F Nemanja Bjelica missed his second straight game with a bruised left knee….
