Pardew spoke to French players on attacks
Pardew said: “We have had conversations with our French players to make sure their nearest and dearest were safe and well, which I can report they are”.
And now Pardew has echoed those sentiments, while paying tribute to the way Parish has ran the club behind the scenes. We need a positive result, and if we get it on Monday, there is no reason why we can’t crack on from there.
Crystal Palace will again be without striker Dwight Gayle, who missed the win at Liverpool with a hamstring problem.
“For me the distance between where we are in the league and safety is getting larger every single game that goes by when we don’t pick up any points”.
Sam Allardyce has told his struggling players they must accept responsibility for Sunderland’s perilous Premier League position and should not attempt to deflect blame elsewhere.
And Allardyce who leads Sunderland to Selhurst Park tomorrow night, said: “We didn’t manage to get Connor at West Ham and he’s moved on to Palace since under Alan Pardew”.
Allardyce insists Sunderland must shore up their leaky defence if they are to have any chance of staying in the Premier League.
“He’s worked in the north east and he knows that both clubs up there are everything to the fans, so he will be looking to rekindle them and get them up and running”.
The midfielder played 57 minutes of France’s defeat to England at Wembley on Tuesday evening but Pardew admitted he had been “subdued”. We have won one and lost three since I have been here. “They’ll give everything they’ve got to get the victory”, he said.
Pardew said: “We’ve had one or two players coming back to us”.
Over the summer, the Selhurst Park club smashed their transfer record in order to sign Yohan Cabaye from PSG for around £10m. We have to do that as quickly as we can. We can’t play with fear because fear is a bad thing in football.
Palace were relegated from the Premier League at the end of its inaugural season in 1992-93 and have since been relegated another three times after lasting one season on each occasion. The Scottish striker has four goals to boast so far this campaign, and will be hoping Selhurst Park will prove a happy hunting ground once more.
