Protester gets kicked out of Trump rally
“Yeah, you can get him out”, Trump said on stage, referring to a protester. According to The Washington Post, Trump paused his remarks to demand Southall’s removal.
Donald Trump said Sunday that the protester who interrupted his rally at a convention center here Saturday was “so obnoxious and so loud” that “maybe he should have been roughed up”.
Yesterday, at a Donald Trump rally in Birmingham, AL, a local activist named Mercutio Southall Jr. started shouting “Black Lives Matter!” as Donald Trump spoke. “Maybe he should have been roughed up because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing”, Trump said Sunday morning on Fox News.
Trump also has fans who are not happy about Mexican immigrants, or religious diversity, or women in the workplace, or Republicans who dare to compromise for the greater good of the country. A video has been made available showing people dragging him to the ground and then kicking and punching him. That’s when 6 white Trump supporters attacked Southall, beating him to the ground. We’re not the n****s from the ’60s. “I don’t know if i’ll do the fighting myself, or if other people will”.
“I want a change where black people, black males can feel safe walking the streets, feel as if they are not being racially profiled, are not going to get shot dead by a police officer”, Irby said. A Trump supporter ripped up a protester’s sign.
The crowd shoved and kicked the man, spurred on by the presidential candidate, who shouted, “Yeah, get him out”.
CNN’s Jeremy Diamond captured video of the incident.
The presidential candidate is known for making controversial statements on immigration issues and his words have fueled racial tensions.
The Republican frontrunner has been widely criticised after retweeting inaccurate statistics about murders in the US. Southall initially struggled against the others and resisted against being taken away. It additionally claims 81 % of whites who’re killed are killed by blacks, which is pure race-baiting at its most ignorant.
Donald Trump and controversy are never far apart.
Still, Southall and Havers said they hold Trump responsible for how they were treated at the campaign event. “I want surveillance of these people that are coming in”. I don’t know. Rough up? He also added that if he wins the elections, he will send the refugees back.
