United States destroys 283 ISIS oil trucks
The strike was carried out by A-10 Warthogs and AC-130 Specter Gunships. Meanwhile, the United States released details of new strikes over the weekend that destroyed nearly 300 oil trucks and a crude collection point, part of its ongoing strategy to target the militant group’s oil production, a significant source of its financing.
USA officials say the fighters to the north don’t have enough combat power to take Raqaa and the fighters to the east must first push south to seize a key road junction before advancing on Raqaa.
But even through the troops ran out of ammunition, Warren praised the attack as “another example of the type of accuracy that we’re capable of here in the coalition, and that 283 fuel trucks were destroyed by American planes during the Sunday action”.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State John Kerry has said that military co-operation with Russian Federation against Isis is possible.

The Observatory said the Russian airstrikes have killed 403 civilians, including 97 children under the age of 18. For these, more than five civilians had to be in the target area before the strike would be called off.
“The key is to destroy Daesh [Isis] rapidly in Syria and in Iraq”, Mr Kerry said.
Combined with recent gains by Kurdish forces and their Arab allies that have cut off some of the main supply routes between IS strongholds in Iraq and Syria, the airstrikes are likely to deal a painful blow to the group.
