Zlatan Ibrahimovic to link up with Arsene
In this new documentary about Ibrahimovic’s life, he credits his whole career to the Swedish club and still insists he is a “boy from Malmo”.
To accomodate the fans who want to watch their hero in action, Ibrahimovic has booked an entire square of downtown Malmo to show the Champions League game for those who don’t have tickets.
He told Uefa.com: “We have got better”.
Unless you count the past 17 years as an audition, Zlatan was true to his word but now wants finally to link up with Wenger, according to the Sunday People. “In our section there’ll be sky blue [Malmo’s colours] and songs for 90 minutes”.
In Sweden, meanwhile, the attention is on PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he returns to his hometown and the team where he made his mark domestically. “If we in the stands do not perform, we can not expect miracles on the pitch”.
Laurent Blanc’s side came back from an emotional global break with a 2-1 victory over Lorient in Ligue 1, with Hervin Ongenda and Blaise Matuidi – one of the French players involved in their friendly against Germnay – getting themselves on the scoresheet.
Ibrahimovic may be knocking on a bit, but he is still scoring goals. The Portugal forward has found the net three times in his last eight games.
Still in exile due to the conflict in its home city of Donetsk, Shakhtar will host Madrid in Lviv hoping to make up for 4-0 defeat in the reverse fixture.
The Mirror say their was interest from Old Trafford, as well, but the player’s personality and the hardline approach taken by Van Gaal is said to have put Ibrahimovic off of any potential switch to the Red Devils.
