Rat takes selfie at subway station
Sure, Milkshake Squirrel was cute but as soon as that video was posted to the internet, days after Pizza Rat, the trend of catching animals performing human-like things officially jumped the shark.
A USA man snoozing on a subway platform got a rude shock when the flash on his phone, which was resting in his lap, suddenly sprung to life and jolted him awake. And don’t forget the video of a rat riding in a subway auto.
If we are to believe witness footage submitted to FOX61 in recent days by a man who calls himself Don Richards, something truly magical went on at the President Street subway station in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, late one night between trains.
It was only when he checked his phone that he saw the rat selfie and a new star of the rodent world was born.
The rat, singular in its mission, crawled onto the lap of an unfortunate man sleeping on the station floor. Unaware that there was a rodent on his lap, the man jumped up after seeing a flash.
The rat then climbed on the man, as adorably disgusting as that may be. As the story is told, the “truth” is that the rat was able to access the phone and in fact took a selfie.
Richards and the man sent each other the video and selfie as proof of the hilarious encounter.
