Taylor Swift Ditched American Music Awards To Film Video In New Zealand
According to news.co.au, Swift spent the weekend in Queenstown in the South Island.
Is this the moment pop superstar Taylor Swift arrived in Queenstown?
The Edge’s Guy, Sharyn and Clint have been consistently keeping tabs on Swift, reporting how she was busy at work filming her latest music video in a water tank housed in East Tamaki. But the woman at Denray Marine Services was of little help; “the nice lady who answered the phone told us there was indeed a single film crew on location but ‘that isn’t unusual… and they’re just finishing up for the day.’ She also admitted she wouldn’t know what Taylor Swift looked like if she was standing in front of her”.
The Sydney Morning Herald said Swift was due in Australia on Thursday to also shoot a video in the Blue Mountains.

3News reporter Hayden Donnell followed up with Shipstead to ask her “whether it was weird stumbling into the middle of a possibly fake news story in a small country in the bottom of world”.
A member of the public yesterday snapped a couple of photos at Auckland’s Bethells Beach when he stumbled across the video shoot. “She’d seen Swift en route to New Zealand”.
“This is definitely not a hoax”, said Wratt.
Sources confirmed to the Herald that Swift, who skipped the American Music Awards on Monday to shoot her music video for Out of the Woods before the start of her Australian tour, is indeed in New Zealand. “If anything, it’s our hosts that are being hoaxed”.
Reports of these vague glimpses of Swift follow her non-attendance at the American Music Awards, where she won Song Of The Year, Favorite Album (Pop/Rock), and Favorite Artist (Adult Contemporary), beating out her competition despite her absence.
Lorde’s mum’s Instagram confirmed the Kiwi singer was in New Zealand, the entire family evidently attending Fleetwood Mac on the weekend.
