Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez reunite again
The entire Top 5 this week is made up of new releases.
This week, a video that was posted on Instagram instantly went viral. JB serenaded Selena in public right there!
“@JustinBieber singing my girl to @SelenaGomez….is this real?” Some news publications were able to obtain some photos of them.
Bieber’s top five domination is rounded out with his first No. 1 single, “What Do You Mean?” which rises respectably one spot this week back up to No. 5.
Bieber released the album on November 13 and Spotify data shows that the album was streamed 205m times globally with 77m of those in the U.S. alone. Justin was also seen grabbing her arm in an affectionate way and she turned her attention to him.
Despite what it may look like, sources close to the couple are saying that they aren’t back together yet.
A source told People magazine that the pair “were friendly at the [hotel] bar” on Friday, “but they didn’t act like a couple”.
Gomez and Bieber may not have walked the red carpet together, but spending time backstage was a must for them. But as both have proven in interviews since, they’re not ruling out the possibility of reconciliation.
He’s also just disappointed fans around the world, as he he’s pulled out of his performance as part of the Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS, which was due to be filmed on Tuesday. Adding labels and drawing more attention from the media could again raise issues in their relationship that could end badly as the two might break up again.
Bieber’s Love Yourself remains at 3, Fleur East’s Sax is at 4 for the third week running, and Bieber’s What Do You Mean enjoys a Number 5 midweek placing in its 13th week on the chart. But now and then, she hits my phone up.
When DeGeneres quizzed Bieber over getting back together with Gomez, he replied: “We have a lot of history together and I am sure it could possibly happen”.
