Singapore, India to partner on cyber security
Mr Modi, who addressed the crowd in Hindi, spoke about how the late prime minister Lee Kuan Yew transformed Singapore, among other things.

While the cyber security agreement was signed between the Indian Computer Emergency Team (CERT-IN) and Cyber Security, Malaysia, the one on culture was inked between the ministries of culture of the two countries.
They witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and their Precursors. “I expressed our desire to see enhanced Malaysian participation in areas such as expansion and upgrading of infrastructure, Make in India and Smart Cities projects”, Modi said.

The audience at the event, Singapore Welcomes Modi, comprised mainly Indian expatriates living in Singapore.
Singapore’s Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran, while giving the welcome address, lauded the economic cooperation between the two countries. The infrastructure development agreement was signed between India’s NITI Aayog and Malaysia’s Performance Management and Delivery Unit (Pemandu).
