Support Our Local Economy, Go Shopping this Small Business Saturday
Created five years ago in 2010, Small Business Saturday was developed as a way to support local independently owned businesses and provide an alternative to “Black Friday”, the busiest shopping day of the year.
“When you support your local businesses, you are supporting the local businesses that pay taxes for our schools and our community”, she said. The Small Business Saturday tour bus paid a visit to Balham on Friday, as part of a 29 stop route around the UK.
