He also said that GB should have a jet service and thus airport would be constructed there.
Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan has taken oath as the Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan Tuesday in Gilgit, the erstwhile province of Jammu and Kashmir.
The decision to appoint him as Governor of Gilgit Baltistan was taken by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The PM said that the government is aware of the bundle of issues that people face and the GB government can not handle them alone.

Later, addressing the people, he said that the government was utilizing all resources available to better communication infrastructure and other development projects.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Gilgit today (Tuesday) to attend oath-taking ceremony of newly-appointed Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan to be held at the Chinar Bag in Gilgit.
The prime minister said that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor would cater to transit traffic from the Central Asian Republics, generate employment and economic activity. Nawaz said that distances in the hearts of the people are cut when roads are able to provide easy journeys.
Nawaz said efforts are being made to strengthen democracy in Gilgit-Baltistan and a committee has been formed to work out political reforms in the area.
