No one but Trump remembers thousands of Muslims cheering 9/11 in NJ
I saw the film of it. In New Jersey. Yes. This morning, Donald Trump doubling down on his statement that he saw on television muslims in New Jersey celebrating the 9/11 attacks.
The surge in support for Cruz seems to have come at the expense of retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who has seen his support in Iowa drop to 18 percent from 28 percent.
The only video CBS2 found was of thousands of Palestinians cheering the attacks in Jerusalem.
The Washington Post itself also debunked Trump’s claims, reporting that, to its knowledge, no video exists of such an incident. “What happened?” Trump said at one point during his remarks. Then I can show you how dishonest they all are.
The measure is being pushed by Democrats in the wake of the Paris attacks.
The brash billionaire also didn’t back down from his controversial comments that he would consider shutting down mosques or putting Islamic houses of worship in the USA under surveillance to guard against future terror attacks.
Silver notes that there are still months to go before voters can decide which person they will put into the country’s highest chair.
Trump is known for making seemingly outrageous statements in every speech and especially on Twitter.

Trump and Kasich have been feuding since last week, when New Day for America, a super PAC supporting Kasich, said it would spend $2.5 million on ads challenging Trump’s readiness to be commander in chief.
If hundreds of people called Trump on 911 to express their outrage, why is there no record of those people expressing outrage to anyone else-letters to the editor, public officials or news outlets? Now all I got is change. Some of that talk has anti-Muslim overtones.

Loras Schulte is so excited about Cruz that he resigned last week from the state’s central committee with the Iowa Republican Party, a position that requires its members to remain neutral.
“He doesn’t stand behind his comments to New Jersey and American Muslims”, campaign spokesman Doug Watts said.
New Jersey has already instituted such a ban, but the state’s governor, Republican presidential hopeful Chris Christie, said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday that he opposes a federal version.
