Holly Holm Would Fight “Cyborg” In A Heartbeat
After beating Ronda Rousey for the UFC bantamweight title at UFC 193, she’s been just about everywhere (except for her house) to bask in her well-deserved glory. And he let it be known that he doesn’t appreciate the hate that has been directed at Rousey. “We have a great energy here”.
Holly Holm looks on before Miguel Cotto takes on Canelo Alvarez at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Could it be time for Rousey to change colors and move over to Kings MMA?
“I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support. It would be great for Ronda”. Well the group’s name has been mentioned as an alternative and seeing that the faction does have big names like Fabricio Werdum and Rafael Dos Anjos under its wing, such could be plausible. As the 135-pound champ, Rousey argued, she shouldn’t have to move up in weight to fight Justino, Invicta FC’s reigning 145-pound featherweight titleholder. However, many have thrown around the idea of Holm stepping into the cage with Cyborg.
She has been on a whirlwind media tour since the next day of the fight. I think it would affect anybody because you are not focusing on the job at hand as much as you would if that’s all you had to focus on.
Trump had previously boasted that Rousey liked him. The USA presidential election candidate said he was “glad” Rousey was beaten as she’s “not a nice person”.
“I’m not going to get into the specifics of it, but, I mean, I don’t really want a reality TV start to be running my country”, she added of the former “Apprentice” host.
Regardless, even though many have turned on Rousey, she still has some friends out there.
Rousey thrives in the ground game (the infamous arm bar) and Holm, a natural boxer, used this to her advantage by keeping her up and delivering punishing strikes.
