Watch The New DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” Trailer
Actor Brandon Routh attends Entertainment Weekly’s Annual Comic-Con Party in celebration of Comic-Con 2015 at FLOAT at The Hard Rock Hotel on July 11, 2015 in San Diego, California.
But here we are – just as The Flash was officially establishing itself as the geekiest show on television, Legends of Tomorrow is here to dethrone it. The CW plans to move them into the Friday night timeslot, with a return date of January 29, 2016.
The latest trailer dropped today for the highly-anticipated mini-series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Check it out above)!
Aside from Jonah Hex, “Arrow” star Colton Haynes teased that Roy Harper/Arsenal could appear in “Legends of Tomorrow” during the panel discussion at the AsiaPop Comic Con event in Manila, Philippines several months ago.
Arrow’s “Legends of Yesterday”: Oliver and Barry Allen take Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage while they figure out how to defeat him. And then there’s Arthur Darvill pulling his best Doctor Who impression as Rip Hunter. Atom, White Canary, Firestorm, and more get a chance to shine and show their stuff. This leaves room for several plot changes and twists for the character.
There’s also the yet-to-be-seen Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée) and Hawkman (Falk Henschel).
Jay Jackson will be portrayed by Franz Drameh. The setting is 2166, with the DC staple villain Vandal Savage (portrayed by Casper Crump) is the ruler of the entire world. Numerous characters for the new show have already been introduced in those shows, and it is expected that all three will crossover. And it’s cool. It will be interesting to see how much that plays into the series.
In classic DC style, the show is essentially a glorified team-up with the members being recruited by Rip Hunter, a time traveler, in order to fight the immortal villain Vandal Savage.
The recently released epic trailer undoubtedly whet fans’ appetite for more of DC’s superheroes.
