Broncos’ Peyton Manning out two more weeks with torn plantar fascia

So forget the Broncos quarterback controversy, even if it’s somewhat bittersweet not being able to see another classic Brady-Manning showdown.

The foot injury has been reported as a torn plantar fascia in his left foot.

Manning was in Charlotte on Monday to get another medical opinion on his foot, Kubiak said.

“Peyton’s frustrated with the fact that he’s injured”, Kubiak said. Hillman and Anderson combined for 161 yards on the ground.

Depending on what Osweiler does over the next two games, it’s possible Manning’s health won’t matter.

Osweiler was the second-round pick of Denver in 2012 and got his first career start after 43 months.
