Samsung Pay expands support for more credit and debit cards
Similar to Apple Pay or Android Pay, those with any of Samsung’s flagship smartphones released in 2015 can make payments for goods in the United States simply by using their smartphone. A mobile payment service also needs to support a variety of cards to be useful, though, and today Samsung Pay is gaining support for more card issuers. She said that Samsung looks “forward to building even more momentum around Samsung Pay” and with this expansion “Samsung Pay users will be able to take advantage of the most widely accepted mobile payment solution”.
Tech Times reported that Samsung Electronics vice president Injong Rhee welcomes the new partnership.
