Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are Married

Vergara and Manganiello had their first dance as a married couple to Frank Sinatra’s 1964 cover of The Way You Look Tonight.

The newly weds commissioned a special four-tier cake treat from Syliva Weinstock NY. The wedding bands exchanged by the couple were designed by Lorraine Schwartz.

The star-studded big celebration wouldn’t have happened if Vergara followed through on her original plan to elope with Manganiello but she said in an interview that her family did not approve of her decision.

To glam all the women up just like how Vergara shined throughout the night, the couple has also tapped hair and makeup artists for all women guests in attending. Before Vergara was involved with Manganiello, the sassy Latina actress was once engaged, to Nick Loeb, an American businessman. Manganiello, 38, wore a John Varvatos tux.

Sofia, Joe, and their guests took to Instagram and Twitter to post their favourite moments from the cocktail and dessert party, which featured a performance by Colombian singer Jorge Celedon. The list included Reese Witherspoon, Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burell, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ariel Winter, Ed O’Neill, and more. Sofia and Joe, who were married by a minister, chose to skip the traditional “I do’s” instead saying “I will”, while reading their own vows.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harvey Weinstein, Georgina Chapman and Roselyn Sanchez were also at the wedding. Manganiello serenaded his bride-to-be, performing the Guns N’ Roses song “Sweet Child O’ Mine” during the bash.

In lieu of presents, guests were asked to make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, in the groom’s hometown, E! said.
