LG Ray 3G Android Smartphone Announced
LG has launched its latest smartphone called the LG Ray which will be launched in Commonwealth of Independent states including countries such as Russian Federation, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazaksthan and so on followed by Latin American countries.
It also needs an answer in the mid range, which is where the LG Ray is aiming to pick off rivals, specifically for 3G markets, with a few standout features blended with others sufficient to get the job done.
Nestled within a frame made to look like metal, the LG Ray offers a 5.5-inch, 720 x 1280 resolution display, good for a pixel desnity of 267 ppi. The handset is powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 3000 mAh battery and comes with 16GB built in storage plus a microSD card slot. The front camera on the handset has 8 megapixels for Selfies and the rear camera comes with 13 megapixels for photos and videos. It will be available in dual and single-SIM models, plus different colour options: silver, gold and “titan” black.
Meanwhile, supported connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0, and its 3G radio supports speeds up to 21Mbps. In terms of software, we’re looking at Android Lollipop with LG’s custom skin on top.
