More Free Maps and Star Cards Planned for Star Wars: Battlefront
A remade and remastered version of the “Super Star Wars” game – a classic 16-bit game – is now available for Sony’s current-generation PlayStation 4 (PS4) gaming console. The tips and tricks posted on Star Wars Battlefront EA website include pointers, blasters and weapons, vehicles, Star Cards, power ups, piloting, and miscellaneous tips. The Rebels have to locate Empire bases and gain control of these installments; there are three bases to find and capture in all. There will be a time limit involved, which, if the Rebels successfully execute the objective, the game will progress with more time and control points.
Brannvall adds: “A Turning Point match will often be very exciting since the outcome is never sure”.
DICE explains that Turning Point portrays the efforts of the Rebel Alliance to defeat the Empire following the Battle of Endor. With the ultimate goal being to infiltrate and capture the Imperial base. The Rebel assault will end at the Empire base.
Don’t expect to dominate the skies in an X-Wing or TIE Fighter. Imperials will use an AT-ST to help defend their control points.
DICE says that Rebel-taken bases can not be re-obtained by Empire forces, who have to fall back to their remaining bases. The Rebels in turn need to decide where their next attack should be. More will be coming with upcoming DLCs, which can be purchased individually or with a season pass, which costs nearly like the game itself. The new addition to the game is going to be close to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie release, so it should attract more fans and maybe change some opinions about the game.
The developers and the publishers got some criticism after the launch of the full game because only four maps are provided by default.
Jakku comes with two maps – Graveyard of Giants and Goazan Badlands.
