Harris County Sheriff Puts Up a Politically Incorrect Sign
A Georgia sheriff has put up a “politically incorrect” sign outside his office in Harris County, Georgia – along with advice for those who don’t like it.
Some social media users praised the sheriff for the sign.
The sheriff said the money he spent on the sign has been reimbursed with donations from like-minded residents. “Even devout Christians should realize that such actions by public officials reflect poorly on the community, sending an ugly message of intolerance”.
Jolley told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer newspaper the sign is meant to “stir people’s belief and patriotism”. We salute our troops and our flag.
If you’re offended, Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley has a not-so-subtle suggestion: “LEAVE!”
“There are some people who don’t like it, and I respect that”, the sheriff said.
Jolley says he plans to post more signs around the county.
Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley posted the large sign in Harris County on Tuesday.
