Lupita Nyong’o Voted By Jennifer Lawrence at 2014 Academy Awards

12 Years A Slave actress Lupita Nyong’o totally impressed Jennifer Lawrence with her impactful performance in the movie. Jennifer Lawrence was so impressed by her that she voted for Lupita at the 2014 Academy Awards instead of voting for herself.

Jennifer Lawrence, 23, chatted with Marie Claire and talked about choosing Lupita’s performance over her and other topics which included boyfriend Nicholas Hoult. All this was revealed in the June 2014 issue of the magazine. When asked about her being with team Lupita, she said she was extremely happy that she voted for Lupita as she deserved the award for her strong performance. She said it feels good when something good happens to someone who actually deserves it and it’s beautiful to watch.

On her relationship with Nicholas Hoult, the 23 year old actress said that when they are busy with work, they mutually agree to ignore each other so that they do not come in each other’s way or work. If not completely but partially and they do not even go mad at each other when either of the two does not text back or call as they both know that they have a super busy life. They trust each other as they know what each one is doing in their life. She said if they were in the same city, they would be living together and still has their own lives as they know that they have each other.

She also talked about on being jealous with Kirsten Stewart rumors. She said she is friends with her and this rumor was hilarious. On her being an award show klutz, she admitted that she did not planed hitting the traffic cone as most of her fans have thought. If she had a plan as such she would have done it in the Golden Globes or the SAGs but not at the Oscars two times in a row.
