Government ready for debates, hope Parliament is allowed to function without
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu also said there are important legislations to be passed and he is optimistic that the sessions will be allowed to function.

While the main agenda of the opposition is to have a a discussion on the issue of “intolerance” to end with Parliament adopting a resolution, the the government focuses on pushing crucial bills, including Goods and Services Tax. “For rest of the works, the whole country is available”, he said.

On the eve of the Constitution Day, the Indian Parliament was also lit up. It is expected to be stormy with the opposition planning to corner the government on “intolerance” and other issues. He suggested that Preamble of the Constitution should be studied by students and it should gradually become a part of people’s day-to-day life. The coincidence is inspiring.
He said the Constitution is a ray of hope.
The winter session of Parliament begins today with a two-day special sitting to celebrate Constitution Day in a tribute to BR Ambedkar, widely regarded as the architect of the Indian constitution. “When I say hope, I mean H for Harmony, O for opportunity, P for people’s participation, E for equality”.
