Bindi Irwin Wins Dancing with the Stars Season 21
“Dancing With the Stars” crowned the victor of season 21 on Tuesday night, and that talented star is now the proud owner of the Mirror Ball trophy.
The 17-year-old was clearly emotional about a season where she was favorited to win from the very beginning.
VIDEO: Bindi and Derek braved injury and illness to deliver a flawless Quickstep. Even the judges were visibly emotional after the tribute, with Derek Hough’s sister moved to tears. Getting hoisted on the shoulders of many, she tells Bergeron, “Thank you for changing my life!” She’d come in everyday prepared and ready to go and just gave me her absolute all, so much so that we literally don’t have anything left.

Irwin and Hough defeated runner-up Nick Carter and partner Sharna Burgess, and third-placer Alek Skarlatos and partner Lindsay Arnold. The day before I had to wave goodbye to my hero, without knowing it would be the last time. That made her total for all three nights 90 out of 90.
Steve, an Australian legend known also as the “Crocodile Hunter” was a wildlife specialist who got killed by a stingray barb that pierced through his heart. “For the rest of my life, I’ll kind of feel like he’s going to come home”, she said.
Meanwhile, judge Carrie Ann Inaba gushed: “Season 21 has been my favorite by far and it’s because of you Bindi Irwin”. The “Jungle Girl” pulled out a flawless finale earning all 10’s on each of her three dances with partner Derek Hough.
