InFocus M808 with metal body, octa core CPU launched at Rs 12999
United States based smartphone maker InFocus has recently launched its latest flagship smartphone dubbed as the M808 in India. The Infocus M808 is aimed to render the buyers with a lighter version of the Infocus M812 at a more affordable price tag. The full metal housing on InFocus M808 comes with TAS (Transmit Antenna Switch) technology, which ensures flawless antenna performance, no matter how one holds the device.
The silver and gold versions of the InFocus M808 are exclusively available for purchase in India through Snapdeal. Design aside, the smartphone also sports some interesting hardware specifications. There is a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution display that delivers 424ppi pixel density and a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 chipset with a 1.3GHz octa-core CPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
The handset offers 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
At the back, InFocus M808 packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, whereas in the front there’s a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera. The dual Sim smartphone supports only nano Sim and is backed by a 2450mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the InFocus M808 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/AGPS+GLONASS.
InFocus M808 incorporates the NXP Smart AMP Technology, which the company claims optimizes sound quality and reduces background noise to produce soothing and crystal clear sound.
