J&D’s Foods sells bacon scented underwear
The underpants, touted as moisture-wicking garments with “scent-emission technology stolen from NASA”, are said to smell of everyone’s favorite breakfast meat through multiple washings and wearings up to six months – depending, of course, on the wearer’s own aroma, according to J&D’s Foods.
The porky underwear is on sale through Seattle-based company J&Ds, who specialise in all kinds of bacon products.
New, bacon-scented underwear is hitting the amused streets of America and no, this is not a joke.
There’s nothing like the smell of freshly-cooked bacon when you wake up in the morning. J&D’s Foods, makers of Bacon Salt, are behind the unique pair of jocks and say they are, “marrying the ultimate in comfort and cured meat”.
But what if you could go to bed with it, too? And do you really want those chemicals rubbing against your skin?
The underwear comes in men’s and women’s styles and is now available for $20 a pair (approximately £15, AU$30), plus $6.95 for shipping within the USA, or $10.95 (about £7, AU$15). The Internet has decreed that everything must smell or taste of bacon these days, from seaweed to athletic trophies to alarm clocks.
A bacon-scented pillowcase is also on sale, which will make all your bacon-themed dreams come true.
