Busiest travel day of the year

The average price of a gallon of gas nationally is $2.09, according to the Energy Information Administration, the Department of Energy’s independent analysis arm.
The top five destinations for Southern California travelers, according to a survey of Auto Club travel agents, are, in this order Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, the Grand Canyon, and Santa Barbara and California’s Central Coast. I stopped for gas along the way.
