Star Wars: The Force Awakens receives PG-13 rating for ‘sci-fi violence
See the two other parts of the cast interview, where they talk about getting their roles, and the secrecy surrounding the movie.
According to Filmratings.com, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will have a PG-13 rating due to “sci-fi action violence”.
“I was just like, ‘How are people going to react to this movie?’ But there’s going to be a reaction for sure”, Boyega said to Deadline.
Expect more Star Wars goodies to roll out in the next few days. It seems as if the Star Wars team has taken over Google and its employees. Producer Kathleen Kennedy did offer a tantalizing tidbit earlier this month, revealing that Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: Episode IX all revolve around Skywalker’s family.
Abrams also revealed that the movie is almost done, and that the only thing left to do is “a couple more color correction things to do”, and saying “I can’t tell you the relief I feel” after finally completing what has been a “nerve-racking” multi-year process. Boyega responded simply, “I don’t know what you’re talking about”.
Directed by JJ Abrams and starring John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Mark Hamill, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released in the United Kingdom on December 17 and in the U.S. on December 18. Or, you can wait until December 2 and visit a Verizon store to purchase one of four Star Wars-themed viewers.
You know, “Arden Hayes” sounds like a decent Star Wars-style name.
And J.J. Abrams has chose to release never-before-seen audition tapes via Saturday Night Live. When your magazine happens to be called the same as the evil organization from the franchise, you really had to get it.
