Julianne Hough & The Grease
Hough’s perfectly preppy as Sandy at the beginning of the film, before her dancing and hormone fueled transformation into a greaser chick. “I can’t wait to go from young girl kind of figuring out who she is to owning this newfound sex appeal”.
The new photos from Grease:Live are here and they are electrifying!
The live, televised musical is officially back thanks to NBC’s “Sound of Music” and “Peter Pan” specials.
Besides Hough, Tveit and Hudgens, several other big name stars also have signed on to the live musical production.
In addition to Hough, Tveit, Hudgens, and PenaVega, Keke Palmer will star as Marty, Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchy, and Ana Gasteyer as Principal McGee.
Meanwhile, Aaron, 32, chanelled John’s iconic character Danny Zuko in a black leather jacket, white T-shirt and black jeans with his thick hair combed back. And she will say it, when Grease: Live! premieres. You definitely don’t want to change the songs or the story, so why not alter the hairstyles and costumes while remaining true to the 1950s?
I’m not sure. All I know is that since I started watching Dancing With the Stars this season, I’ve become attached to Julianne Hough, especially in her role as the authority in ballroom dancing, in a deep, inexplicable way. “Grease” is the single most iconic musical of the 1970s. “I would say I’m more excited than nervous”, she stated.
According to E! News, the TV movie will be airing on January 31, 2016, around 7 to 10 p.m., depending on the coast.
