What not to buy on Black Friday

While some retail stores wait until Black Friday to open, others are setting up deals online and early to snag the most shoppers.

The big discounts might no longer be just about the day after Thanksgiving, but is Black Friday really a thing of the past? “Part of it is trying to make it more accessible to consumers so people don’t feel like they have to be there” to get the big deals.

Walmart says it’s doing its best to cater to every shopping style.

Walmart will let customers shop all night online while their turkeys are in the oven, instead of spending time in lines across the country. Most consumers want good deals on electronics and typically those deals come from Amazon, Walmart or Best Buy.

Shoppers have been eager to take advantage of sales when they see them, according to NRF, even well ahead of the upcoming major shopping days: Black Friday, Small-Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.

“Reports of the death of Black Friday are exaggerated and it appears this year’s will be bigger than ever”. There are three specific timeframes that you need to be aware of.

Volusia Mall: Thanksgiving Day: Select store 6 p.m.to midnight. For other items like kitchen items can also be great for free shipping day on Dec 18th.

“Black Friday has morphed from a single day of deals to a whole month of savings”, Willcox said.

” We have items that are just as good of deals and just as fun to pass along, plus you are helping to support your local community members”, said Susie Ziegler, Sales Clerk of Crystals Books and Gifts.

That said, here’s a line-up of when many brick-and-mortar stores will kick off their official Black Friday bonanzas. There are many items that are not at their lowest prices that you will sale on sale floors.

Keep in mind that many of these chains will give you online access to their doorbuster deals before they start the in-store action.
