Adele kicking off 2016 live tour at SSE Arena Belfast
Adele has just given all of her friends their first official present of the holiday season-she’s going on tour in 2016!
Fans applauded the tour, Adele’s first in four years, on Twitter while media sites noted that the 27-year-old singer appeared to have overcome her self-professed fear of performing before large crowds.
Advance sale tickets for all United Kingdom dates will be exclusively available to members of ADELE.COM in the United Kingdom and Europe from 9 am on Tuesday December 1 at ADELE.COM. While EU advance tickets go on sale Wednesday 2nd December at 9am GMT. While dates for the rest of the world have yet to be confirmed, New Zealand fans will no doubt be hoping the songstress manages to squeeze in a few shows on our shores!
Her website states: “The resale of tickets will not be tolerated”.
Now, she’s been giving Adele tips – although it’s unlikely the English megastar will be adopting them when she comes to the SSE Arena next year.
Adele has announced a 2016 arena tour of the UK & Ireland and admitted she’s been “bluffing” about not touring her new LP “25”.
Once she battles and F-bombs her way through the script (outtakes galore!), she gives her best Harry Potter/weatherman impersonation by pointing to the European cities she’ll tour through on a map behind her. The 36-date run will kick off in Belfast on February 29 and travel through major cities like Dublin, London, Amsterdam and Paris, before wrapping in Belgium on June 13. I’m sure they would hang out with me, if I invited them back to my hotel, but I feel quite on my own a lot on tour.
“I like to think I’ve got it in me to do global tour – but we haven’t made any firm plans”.
