Olly Murs hits back at criticism over X Factor gaffe
Anton, 44, sang I Can’t Make You Love Me and he was absolutely right as the judges voted three to one to send Che Chesterman through instead after a sing-off.
“I would never dream of calling somebody too fat and that they should maybe cut down on their food intake?”
Flack and Olly Murs joined The X Factor as joint presenters this year, taking over from Dermot O’Leary, who had hosted the show from 2007 to 2014.
‘I’d have been naïve to think that I wouldn’t be in for some criticism, ‘ he said.
X Factor’s Caroline Flack has lashed out at online trolls who made “vile comments” about her appearance over the weekend.
The 36-year-old continued: “We might mention it this weekend as a joke, I might be sending it to deadlock if it does”.
“He’s great and he’s amusing and he takes the mick out of me the whole time”.
‘I think every week he’s getting better and better. “People have got to get used to it but he’s got a massive future ahead of him, 100% he’s still got my support”.
Fans also questioned whether Murs would be sacked from the show – but Simon Cowell has revealed that he laughed it off.
“I had no idea Monica was going until I got the envelope”.
According to some of the show’s audiences, Murs’ gaffe is only proof that the results of “The X Factor” is indeed rigged. It’s like once you’re in, you’re in it, and we’re in it until the final and there’s no down time but I love that though. Everyone was so supportive’.
