Royals recall LHP John Lamb as 26th man
Per reports, the Chicago White Sox plan to promote pitcher Frankie Montas for the team’s doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals on Friday.
After a four-day break thanks to the All-Star festivities, the White Sox and their fans had reasons to be excited entering a four-game weekend series against the Kansas City Royals.
The Chicago White Sox might be at the bottom of the American League Central but they are not out of the postseason conversation.
All-Star Lorenzo Cain had two hits, including an RBI double for the Royals. Quintana will carry a 3.83 ERA and 1.32 WHIP into his next start on the road against the Indians.
