Nokia C1 Renders Get Leaked With Both Android And Windows 10
To say there’s a big demand for a new Nokia phone is somewhat of an understatement.
Next year, Finland’s Nokia could return to the mobile phone market with the C1 model.
We’re pretty sure already that Nokia is going to reenter the smartphone market and they are probably going to switch to Android and today we have some renders of the upcoming C1, a dual-boot smartphone. Among other things, the Redmond company can now use the Nokia brand until 2016, but for some time appear increasingly more rumors that the Finns could return to the market. It’s unclear if Nokia is making two versions of the phone – one with Android, one with Windows – or one phone that runs both. It’s shown in different color choices, and the interesting aspect of this new leak is that one is shown running Android, while another is running Windows 10 Mobile.
It remains to be seen whether this is the final design of the Nokia C1, so take this with a huge pinch of salt, especially since the tipster who picked up this render is far from having a reliable track record for the simple fact that it is a first time leak.
Still, it would have been too early for a specs list to leak along with the Nokia C1 render, since the smartphone won’t be announced for another year or so. It’s worth noting though, that all of the previous rumors we’ve heard on the phone suggest it will be running Android. Naturally, it’s unknown whether these images are legitimate and we will most likely never get a confirmation from Nokia. Unfortunately we don’t have any information, except for what we can see in the renders.
How do you feel about Nokia’s comeback in the smartphone business?
