The suspects from the Monday night shooting near the Fourth Precinct are in custody at the Hennepin County Jail and will remain there until at least Monday, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Wednesday. Inside, his obituary said the 24-year-old man “liked to swim, fish, listen to music, play basketball, be with family and take trips to Charlotte, North Carolina”. Ahead of a planned protest in Portland, Ore., he tweeted: “Black Lives Matter is planning to protest at Lloyd Center on black Friday”.
Questions have been raised whether Clark was handcuffed when he was shot, which police have denied. Vehicles in the procession honked their horns, and protesters shouted “Justice for Jamar”.
Johnson disputed comments that police had taken too long to react to the shooting, and said officers responded in three minutes.
His funeral earlier Wednesday attracted hundreds of people.
Police say Gustavsson and Macey turned themselves in.
Bishop Richard Howell praised protesters for pressure that he said helped get a federal civil rights investigation and the names of the officers involved.
“We wanted to continue the community space we’ve been building here and use a lot of the resources that we’ve been receiving to give back to the community”, said Miski Noor of Black Lives Matter.

Protesters have demanded that authorities release video of Clark’s death.
“They have called for peace and a cessation of protests for Jamar’s sake and the safety of the community”, Belton said, according to Star Tribune. Clark’s family has asked for protesters to end the 4th Precinct encampment, out of concern for their safety, and U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison said it would be wise to “start thinking about an exit strategy” and what to do next.

Belton said the vigil should end to “restore order” to the community, which he said has endured open gunfire, traffic and service interruptions, smoke from the protesters’ fires and hours of helicopter noise.
The officers who shot Clark, Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze, were placed on standard paid administrative leave pending ongoing investigations by the FBI and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. However, activists claim Clark was lying handcuffed on the ground and was not resisting at the time of the shooting.
