Nicki Minaj throws shade at JLo during American Music Awards performance

During Sunday night’s American Music Awards, host, Jennifer Lopez opened up the program by performing a plethora of this year’s hottest tracks, including, Minaj’s “Anaconda”. She also slowed it down with a snippet from some Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”. Jenny looked so hot Nicki Minaj may have throw some shade at her during her bootylicious dance routine.

After Miley made it clear she didn’t side with Nicki and her VMAs-related Twitter rant, she then found herself in the same room as the rapper during the annual awards bash. It’s not like she frowned or rolled her eyes or anything, but the folks on social media instantly said Nicki wasn’t pleased with J. Lo’s rendition of her song. She ended her acceptance speech with an empowering message for her fans.

We do have to wonder, at the very least, why the dance didn’t cause Minaj to crack a smile.

Both Lopez and Minaj were later on spotted enjoying the AMA after-parties with their respective celebrity friends and partners.
