Premier League Week – Can Vardy Make It 11 In a Row?
Vardy has now scored in his last 10 league games, and a goal against United will break the record for scoring in consecutive league matches – a record he currently shares with former United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Vardy has used an ice chamber to ensure he is fit for Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with Manchester United at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester were responsible for one of the most shocking results of last season when they claimed a 5-3 victory over United at the King Power Stadium, before Van Gaal’s side avenged the loss by beating the Foxes 3-1 in January.
The 16-19 spread on the minute of the last Vardy goal may interest some punters, especially when you consider that 10 of Leicester’s last 11 league goals have come after the break.
“I know there are players out there in a similar position to where I was that just need an opportunity”, he said.

“Normally these kind of clubs can be a long time competing, but normally at the end it’s more hard”.
Manchester United missed the chance of making it out of the group as they were held to a 0-0 draw against PSV at home.
“You see players where the ball could have been played forward with a little bit of risk but they tend to go square or back”.
United’s place in the Champions League was put in serious jeopardy after they played out a disappointing 0-0 draw against the Dutch champions on Wednesday.
Questions will continued to be raised until United are more convincing in games, but one thing has quickly become certain, Van Gaal’s side have a tendency to pick up points even when they are not at their best this season.
“We are still not lucky in finishing chances”.
“This week we had calls from French and Danish TV crews who are over here filming, and the Danish guys asked if they could come into the office to interview me”.
“In England, because of the quality of the teams and because every team has the money to buy players, the difference in the Premier League between clubs is not so much”.
“We have to think what is better for a player like Wilson at the moment”. Now more so because he is highly motivated and in very good shape. We believe in him so he has to develop himself elsewhere.
“We have to forget this game (at Juventus) and try to bounce back in the league”.
