Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets PG-13 rating in the US
THR reports that the MPAA has given Star Wars: The Force Awakens a PG-13 rating for “sci-fi action violence”, a combo intense enough to warrant the suggestion that kids under 13 shouldn’t see the film in theaters without a parent present.
Disney Interactive revealed this trailer today (Wednesday, November 25), which is the third Star Wars Play Set to be released for Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, and will be available on December 18. “Jurassic World” has an opening day haul of $208 million, which many say the new “Star Wars” movie can easily get past at.
“We have a couple more color corrections, but we’re done”, Abrams said.
Abrams also spilled that the first word in the movie will be “This”. “J spoiled it, he assumed that I had told her everything but I didn’t tell her”.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is one of the most highly anticipated films to come out this year.
Ridley, who landed the lead role of Rey, told host Jimmy Kimmel that she was watching a play in London’s West End when she got the phone call from Abrams and had to return to her seat midway through, barely able to concentrate and unable to tell her date the news.
“I was just like, ‘How are people going to react to this movie?’ But there’s going to be a reaction for sure”, Boyega said to Deadline.
The cast then talked a little bit around the audition process, including that fact they they had to memorize lines because they couldn’t take the script. “What is Star Wars?’ He didn’t know”.
The story is worth reading in its entirety even if you aren’t a Star Wars fan, as it examines a trend that’s already visible elsewhere in Hollywood.
The franchise is more than just films, games and toys.
