Shoppers brawl over Black Friday deals

During my excursion Friday morning, I noticed that stores were practically bending over backward to accommodate shoppers and lure others in.
Channel 9 reporter Joe Bruno caught up with shoppers early Friday morning at Concord Mills, where doors opened Thanksgiving night. However, the Black Friday shopping experience tends to lead to chaos and fights in different stores across the country.
Relatively mild temperatures gave ME retailers a boost as they kicked off the official start of the holiday shopping season with midnight openings on Black Friday.
The person who filmed it wrote: “One of the guys made some rude comments towards another and one said ‘What did you just say to me?’ loudly outside of the store”.
“I got some great deals at The Loft, I couldn’t resist”, she said.

Many other stores advertised that their deals ended at 11 or noon, perhaps a reason many shoppers were around early. Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time that families can get together and reflect on their blessings and spend time with loved ones. Needless to say, the store was bustling. It was McMorris’ first Black Friday, though he said he will probably come again. Locals also are feeling more confident about their jobs, the housing market and the overall economy, encouraging them to spend money on gifts, the Florida trade group said.
