Kevin Love leads Cavaliers to win over Hawks

The shorthanded Cavs benefited from a complete team effort on Saturday night. Teague entered early in the first quarter Saturday…. They lost his last year in Miami, and now he is driven to win a title with the Cavaliers after losing in the Finals to Golden State last year. He showed that against the Atlanta Hawks, criticizing yet again his teammates despite the fact that they held a pretty large lead against their opponent. “We were in a late clock a lot in the last five minutes and it’s a part of cruel path that we are going to evidently have to take”. At one point in the third quarter the Hawks deficit was 26 points, but a couple of second-half runs cut the Cavaliers lead down into the teens. He pulled down 16 rebounds including 6 on the offensive end.

While it’s not meant to meant to be hurtful, the team is demonstrating that they are more about business and less things that happen that have nothing to do with the final score.

Ahead of the action, we spoke to Cleveland Cavaliers writer Jared Mueller to find out exactly what to expect, and to learn about what matchups we should be looking out for.

This is due to James and Blatt getting some of the lesser talented guys to play above their ability, and the Eastern Conference will be there for the taking this postseason. Seemingly out of frustration, James headed to the bench without the proper protocol of player substitutions. The problem, however, was that there was no substitute for him at the scorer’s table and the Hawks inbounded the ball quickly after the loss of possession.

Four-time NBA MVP James rejoined Cavaliers for a second spell in 2014 after previously playing for the franchise between 2003 and 2010. It will be the first of four meetings between the two teams this season.

On the season, the Orlando Magic average 100.4 points, 47.2 rebounds and 22.2 assists per game. Matthew Dellavedova started at point guard and had a career-high 13 assists and three turnovers in 38 minutes.

It didn’t really matter if he did sub himself or not. To put that in perspective, the next closes Cav was James with a plus 17.

“At home, we won against the best team in the world”, he said. James was asked what he foresees in this game.

“Andy is a consummate pro”, forward Kevin Love said. The Cavs increased ball movement and emphasis on feeding Love the ball has worked wonders for the team.
