Donald Trump campaigning in Sarasota
Donald Trump is a bigot.
This is because Mr Trump’s slide has been matched by a drop in support for Ben Carson, his closest challenger in the packed Republican field.
Stepanek said, “Donald Trump has pledged publicly to support the Republican nominee, whoever that may be, and for Jennifer Horn as party chair to come out with such an obvious slanted and slanderous comment about the leading candidate in New Hampshire, who at this point is about 19 percentage points ahead of everyone – in fact, for her to criticize any candidate is totally unacceptable and should be considered grounds to call for resignation”.
“I would never mock anyone with a disability”. Nate Silver, for instance, published a piece arguing that analysts extrapolating forward from Trump’s current (and impressively durable) poll lead are likely to be disappointed.
It’s impossible to predict the future, but trust me when I tell you this theory is widely believed and whispered about.
Trump’s invocation of Kovaleski was flawed from the start: the billionaire was trying to defend his claim that he saw “thousands” of Muslims celebrating in New Jersey as the Twin Towers fell on September 11, 2001.
Trump is still in the lead, with 31% of people surveyed naming him as their preferred candidate in a rolling poll over five days that ended on 27 November.
Earlier this week, after Trump made comments about a “database” for Muslims, Horn said Trump was being “beyond ludicrous”.
The giveaway was this bit from Trump about Kovaleski: “He should stop using his disability to grandstand and get back to reporting for a paper that is rapidly going down the tubes”.
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best”.
“Donald Trump wants to be treated fairly”.
The crowd laughed; it was classic Trump.
That wasn’t always a certain for Trump who in the first GOP debate in Cleveland said he’d consider running as a third party candidate. She waited in line for another two hours to see the former host of television’s The Apprentice speak in a city that, by coincidence, was once the winter home of the Ringling Brothers Circus. “I think it’s disgraceful”. “Sometimes, Trump gets a little over the top”. I’m with the other observers who think he’s spitting into the wind on this one.
“Our great African-American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore”.
Though before the Sarasota rally Trump showed a softer side, at least briefly. He instructed his pilot to take children for helicopter rides.
Trump was quick to take advantage. “Don’t hurt the person”.
Last week, the Wall Street Journal published a report saying members of the Republican establishment are uniting to form a “guerrilla campaign” supported by secret donors to “defeat and destroy” Trump’s campaign. Trump organizers distributed about 10 VIP passes to African American pastors. Marco Rubio of Florida for sweating profusely and deriding the intelligence of former Gov. Rick Perry of Texas.
Ohio’s governor, who emerged from his hiding place of being the reasonable adult int he room recently to wage a crusade against Trump, calling him unfit for duty in the White House, lands in seventh place.
Meanwhile, a new Quinnipiac University poll confirms that Ted Cruz has parlayed his tough talk on immigration and appeal to evangelical Christians into a strong showing in Iowa.
