Luis Suarez shines as Barcelona crush AS Roma 6-1

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique claims Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar are never fully satisfied unless they all score in a match.

Messi missed a chance to add a fourth with a shot from close to the penalty spot which scraped past the wrong side of the post.

Barcelona kept arriving easily on both flanks and Dani Alves was played through by Messi to square the ball for Neymar, who beat his marker and stabbed Barcelona’s first goal into the top of the net.

“Between them, they look for each other all the time and the objective is for them to be happy which happens when they score”, Alves told reporters.

“We are at a very good level but there is still a long way to go before the decisive phase of each competition”.

Real Sociedad will likely be sitting back and playing a lot of defense in this game.

The Peter Lim-owned team lost 0-2 away at Zenit St Petersburg and were leapfrogged by Ghent, thanks to Kalifa Coulibaly’s last-gasp goal which secured a 2-1 win over Group H bottom side Lyon. That we are playing well and that the team is enjoying themselves is undeniable.
