Broncos’ Brock Osweiler named AFC Player of the Week

Frankly, the Broncos should have won the game by a wider margin, but a failed goal line attempt and some officiating shenanigans made the game a lot closer than it should have been. Anunike has played the last five games, but saw limited action. He has 51 catches for 843 yards and eight touchdowns this season, and by any measure – either standard stats or advanced metrics – he’s the NFL’s best tight end. Can they seize it?

Put another way: The Broncos’ defense is going to have its hands full when they host the Patriots on Sunday night.

Brock will have some struggles, but Denver wins thanks to superb defensive play.

It’s an onus on the Patriots’ emerging defense, too. No heroics will be needed by the offense if Wade Phillips took good notes on Monday night. “They’re so good that we have to be on top of our game or else it won’t go well”.

The Broncos are out for revenge on Brady and Belichick. I’m just trying to make them get the ball out quick. They have great talent.

The Patriots are allowing an average of 14 points over their last four games. When asked how you stop Gronk, he didn’t hedge.

Tough team? Sure. Tough enough to beat the Patriots? The Patriots have incurred multiple injuries on offense, but the Pats are still risky because they have Tom Brady at quarterback. Kansas City’s defense might be the league’s best right now, led by linebackers Justin Houston and Tambi Hali, and the Chiefs lead the AFC with a plus-10 turnover differential. They’ve dropped four of five since starting the year 5-0 and are on a three game losing streak. The Broncos may be catching the Patriots at the wrong time.
