Absolutely Waterford accepting toy donations

Toys for Tots is a volunteer organization whose goal is to collect new, unwrapped toys for kids 0-16, and distribute them to children who would not otherwise receive a gift during the holiday season.

The objective of the Toys for Tots program is to help less fortunate children in southeastern Wisconsin experience the joy of Christmas.

This holiday season, Ed Shults Ford Lincoln Hyundai is proud to once again be an official drop off location for the annual Toys for Tots campaign.

You can contribute to your local Toys for Tots campaign in several ways.

“It’s wonderful to see the spirit that the young children learn to give to other children”, said Toys for Tots sponsor Sondra Stephens. If any students would like to donate toys please drop them off at the Blue House Visitor’s Center located at Liberty Hall Museum (across the Science Technology and Mathematics (STEM) parking lot).

Organizers say the collection has been successful but still there is a need for help.

The toy drive is entering its 25th year, and last year collected about 2,500 toys and more than $1,000 in donations.
