Star Wars The Force Awakens VR Experience Announced!

Parents, take note: if your kid is under the age of 13, they won’t be able to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens unless you accompany them to the theater. Check it out in the gallery below!

The collaboration will feature a first-of-its-kind serialized Google Cardboard VR experience which puts together a compelling story that connects to the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The episode also featured several sketches, including one in which R2-D2 projected a hologram of Fisher, who said she’s sworn off the bun wig from “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope”. The screenplay is by Lawrence Kasdan & J.J. Abrams and Michael Arndt.

The Motion Picture Association of America says “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” may not be entirely suitable for young kids.

Abrams was quick to shoot down Kimmel’s comment that Star Wars fans were more aggressive that Trek fans, admitting there are more of them (including himself). It was recently confirmed, however, that Jurassic World’s Colin Trevorrow will be helming the third Saga chapter. If you’re feeling particularly crafty, you can even build your own Cardboard viewer. Boyega pointed out that he wasn’t born when the first films came out. Today, Empire Magazine has six new collectible covers for their latest issue, which feature Rey (Daisy Ridley) and BB-8, Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) with Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew).

The British actor portrays Finn in the upcoming movie, which is shrouded in secrecy ahead of its December release, and Boyega admits the pressure to keep all plot lines under wraps was so great, he was constantly afraid he would give something away.

“You’re not branding yourself in a way that’s making me want to join your life threatening club”, she added.

In summary, Star Wars is just a little bit huge…

His plan, however, to keep the news from his wife for a while was scuppered by director J.J. who looked abashed as Adam admitted, “I hadn’t told my wife and J.J. spoiled it, he assumed I’d told her everything but I didn’t tell her”.
