Shoppers turn to Naperville stores for Small Business Saturday

“We love Black Friday, but we love Stroll on State and we love small business Saturday more”, co-owner of Rockford Art Deli Brittany Lingren said.
Shoppers who braved the drizzle said they were drawn to Long Island’s downtowns by quaint atmospheres and a sense they were helping their communities.
Marshall has owned her business in Tyler since 2012.
Stacie Pierce, of Aurora, admitted she is basically a poster child for Dean’s Clothing in Naperville, an independent business with more than 50 years of history.
“I grew up here in town and came to Anderson’s all the time”, Marisa said. But I never feel any pressure to buy. “There you have more mediocre, run-of-the-mill things”. So, the Association says, shopping local benefits all residents of Bozeman.
Store owners each had a different approach for this weekend but were all hoping customers would remember them as they made their shopping plans.
Marshall says she was surprised by the turnout, because of the weather. “You’re not going to find that from companies online or a lot of the big box stores”. “It’s understanding what’s inside the box and what it does”.
