Jorja’s wildest dreams came true when she met Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift made a young fan’s dream come true when she surprised her with a visit. So Jorja’s twin sister, Chloe, helped put together a Facebook page devoted to helping Jorja meet Taylor before she experiences more hearing loss.
Jorja Hope with a signed Taylor Swift poster. “Jorja has battled her whole life from being born preemie with growth problems, to surgeries on her ears already and five surgeries for broken bones”, Melissa added.
Wildest dream: Maitland schoolgirl Jorja Hope met her idol Taylor Swift in Sydney.
The 25-year-old beauty also had a gift for the youngster as after the meet-and-greet Taylor treated the twins to tickets for her gig at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium last weekend.
After finding out her diagnosis, Jorja disappointingly declared: “I won’t be able to hear Taylor Swift sing”.
Her review of the show: “It was very, very fun”. Chloe created #HelpJorjaMeetTaylorSwiftSydney, and once the hashtag went viral, local Sydney radio station Nova 96.9 set things in motion to help arrange a meeting with Jorja and her idol. “She does get a lot of people who say she’s bad, but she keeps on going”.
Speaking to Australian newspaper the Maitland Mercury about seeing her idol in the flesh, Jorja said: “She was very, very fantastic and very pretty”.
Jorja and her sister Chloe had been vocal on social media about Jorja’s wish to see Swift perform live before she eventually goes deaf.
