Captain America: Civil War – 20 Best Reactions To The First Trailer
Our early next month – conveniently released in time for the holidays – the 13-disc set contains Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and digital copy versions of six films, each packaged with eye-catching new artwork: “Iron Man 3”, “Thor: The Dark World”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, “Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Ant-Man”.
When last we saw The Winter Soldier, at the end of the film that bears his name, Bucky Barnes was beginning to put the pieces together about who he has been for the last several decades. This means that whatever Black Panther’s business is in “Captain America: Civil War“, it involves vibranium, which he could possibly be trying to return to his homeland.
“Captain America: Civil War” is the Black Panther’s introduction into the MCU, and since Boseman has already reportedly signed on for five movies, he will be an important asset to the Avengers.
The first trailer for the highly-anticipated film Captain America: Civil War has hit the internet, and it is full of incredible footage.
According to Cinema Blend, while fairly little is known about Black Panther, he will be chasing down the Winter Soldier/Bucky (Sebastian Stan), who, for whatever reason, could have tampered with the vibranium supply.
Civil War centers Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. It is intended as the sequel to 2014’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”.
It actually begins in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. The main cast of “Civil War” is composed of the greatest heroes the world has ever seen.
There are rumors that Captain America will die in the movie.
OK, so it didn’t quite make sense, because Iron Man and Cap are far from real friends at any point to date (their relationship is more defined by macho dick-swinging and morality oneupmanship), but his hang-dog expression entirely sold the lie. Similar logic might apply to Robert Downey Jr’s presence here, too. This scenario was teased in the trailer for “Captain America: Civil War”, where both Bucky and Captain America are seen battling Iron Man. Come to think of it, Tony Stark: Director of SHIELD has a nice ring to it, and there’s some precedent for that in the comics, but that seems like a longshot, at best. This is one of the big things that I am interested in seeing.
And while there’s no doubt that Downey is the heart of this entire franchise, guys like Chris Evans and Hemsworth have carved out a nice chunk of the fanbase for themselves.
