Premier League clubs paid agents $297m in a year ago
Between October 1, 2014 and 30 September, 2015, the Reds have made £14,301,464 in payments to agents – this includes money paid by clubs on behalf of their players.
In total, Premier League clubs spent £129.8m.
Premier League clubs splashed out over NZ$297 million on agents’ fees past year – a 16.5 million increase on the previous 12 months.
Local rivals Manchester United and Manchester City spent 260 million pounds total in the last transfer window, generating the second and third highest agent costs: United paid intermediaries 13.8 million pounds; City, 12.4 million pounds.

Fees are not just paid to agents when transfers happen, but also when players sign new contracts.
Overall there is once again a significant rise in the Premier League fees to agents, however, with BBC Sport claiming that the last report showed £115m spent by the clubs in the English top flight.
