Floyd Mayweather Shows Sympathy to Ronda Rousey After Her Defeat
It’s been a tough couple of days for UFC star Ronda Rousey, who suffered a brutal defeat at the hands (and legs) of Holly Holm during their championship bout Saturday night.
The verbal spat between the two fighters began in July 2014, when Mayweather said of Rousey, “I don’t even know who he is”.
“I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support”, Rousey, 28, wrote to her 6.5 million Instagram followers. “Fake ass cheap shotting fake respect fake humility bitch”, Rousey captioned a video of herself getting in Holm’s face on the day of the fight, November 14. I’ll put $10,000 on her every time against her and just keep doubling up, because eventually she’s going to lose – that’s my philosophy.
Fans also took to Twitter (via MMA Junkie), demanding for a rematch, after their champion went down with one kick to the head. She certainly has a few more years of experience than Rousey, and seem determined to avoid hitting the floor where she would nearly certainly have been destroyed by Rousey’s bone-breaking armbar. The caption of the photo posted by 50 Cent read, “LMAO FLOYD TOLD ME TO POST THIS, he want me to do the dirty work”.
Rogan on Rousey Coach Edmond Tarverdyan: “I like Edmond, I talk to that guy all the time, I always hug him when I see him, (but) I do not like what he did in the corner (between rounds)”, Rogan said.
“I don’t think there’s any rush”, White said.
Holly Holm pulled off one of the biggest upsets in UFC history when she knocked out Rousey in the second round to claim the UFC world bantamweight title. “She still has a movie to film, doing all the things she has to do before she fights again”.
“Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to give away any bit of my victory, so I’ll take it. I’ll take the win and I’ll take that I took it dominantly”.
