‘Gangnam Style’ singer Psy’s Roll Royce collides with bus in China
Gangnam Style singer Psy has been involved in a auto crash after his Rolls-Royce collided with a bus in China.
Psy had been travelling from the airport to a hotel when the crash happened.
YG Entertainment confirmed that Psy’s Rolls-Royce collided with a bus as it was turning right on the road on July 16 at around 3 PM.
“It is true there had been a auto accident”, Psy’s representative reportedly said to press after the incident. Both parties had already negotiated and settled the compensations. It’s not clear if the singer was driving the luxury vehicle at the time of the accident.
According to Yahoo United Kingdom news, Psy was visiting the city to attend an opening party for a bar. He was later driven away in a Porsche.
The star’s 2012 pop hit became the first video to hit the one billion views mark on YouTube in December of that year, becoming the most watched on the site, surpassing Justin Bieber’s Baby. His follow up numbers – Gentlemen and Hangover – were relatively good on Youtube but never reached the fame as Gangnam Style ever.
